LAHORE: Pakistan pacer Haris Rauf has been recalled to the ODI squad for the upcoming three-match series against New Zealand, following his impressive performance in the recently concluded T20I series.
Initially dropped from the ODI format due to a lackluster outing in the Champions Trophy, where hosts Pakistan failed to secure a single win, Rauf’s resurgence has prompted the team management to reconsider their decision.
Rauf, who emerged as Pakistan’s leading wicket-taker in the T20I series against New Zealand with seven scalps, showcased his ability to deliver crucial breakthroughs. Despite Pakistan losing the series 4-1, his standout performance has earned him a spot in the ODI squad, which begins its campaign in Napier on Saturday.
