Interim bail of Bushra, others extended in Nov 26 case
Court grants interim bail to Shehryar Afridi, Sher Afzal Marwat, Abdul Qayyum Niazi, Rauf Hassan and others
ISLAMABAD: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Monday extended the interim bail of Bushra Bibi, Shehryar Afridi, Abdul Qayyum Niazi, Rauf Hassan and other accused in the cases related to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s November 26 Islamabad protest.
Advocate Ansar Kiyani and Advocate Shamsa Kiyani appeared in the court of Judge Abul Hasanat Zulqarnain on behalf of Bushra Bibi, wife of PTI founder Imran Khan, and filed applications for her exemption from presence and inclusion in the investigation.
The court extended Bushra Bibi’s interim bail in seven cases until May 5. The cases were registered in Aabpara, Secretariat, Tarnol, and Ramna police stations, and two in Margalla and Karachi Company under terrorism provisions. The court accepted the exemption application of Salman Akram Raja, Zartaj Gul, Alia Hamza and Kanwal Shozab and extended their interim bail until May 5.
The court granted interim bail to Shehryar Afridi, Sher Afzal Marwat, Abdul Qayyum Niazi, Rauf Hassan and others. The interim bail of Hassan, Mashal Yousafzai, Nadia Khattak, Falak Naz Chitrali, Shoaib Shaheen, Ali Bukhari, Umair Niazi, Taimur Jhagra, Ali Zaman, Abdul Latif and others was extended till May 5. The cases were registered against the accused in Ramna, Tarnol, Kohsar police stations.
