Bilawal recalls how Imran as PM shunned parliamentary meetings on security
"It is every Pakistani’s patriotic duty to put country above politics at times of war," says PPP chairman
ISLAMABAD: PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said Tuesday it was pathetic to see the PTI demanding presence of its founder in the meeting of the parliamentary committee on national security, while, in fact, Imran Khan never attended any such meeting when he was prime minister.
In his post on “X”, Bilawal said, Imran Khan never attended any parliamentary meeting while (being) PM, neither on terrorism, noor on Kashmir and Indian aggression. Bialwal said, “Today he (Imran) is not a member of the parliament and this was a meeting of the national security committee of the parliament. (It’s) pathetic PTI would insist he attends (meeting) now.”
“It is every Pakistani’s patriotic duty to put country above politics at times of war”, Bilawa concluded.
