Pakistan's Special Olympics athletes created history at the World Winter Games in Turin, Italy last week. The team came home with 11 medals, including six gold medals. Ronak Lakhani, Chairperson of Special Olympics Pakistan, was also lauded for her tireless efforts in enabling the empowerment of people living with cognitive and physical disabilities.
