Rawalpindi: Appreciating the anti-terrorism operation of Pakistan’s armed forces, the Chief of Tehreek-e-Nifaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Allama Agha Syed Hussain Muqaddasi has stated that Pakistan’s security forces and law enforcement agencies have adopted the valour of Hazrat Mukhtar Thaqafi (RA) as their practical motto in their fight against terrorists, says a press release.
The government must ensure the protection of lives and property by bringing terrorists and their patrons to justice. The terrorist activities in Tank, Jandola, Bannu, and various regions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, including the attack on Jafar Express, were direct assaults on Pakistan’s sovereignty. By successfully neutralizing the terrorist attacks, the security forces have proven that Pakistan will not bow before enemy forces.
Now, the time has come for the nation to unite and wage a decisive war against terrorism. Indian involvement in acts of terrorism has already been presented with undeniable evidences before relevant international forums, and it should be highlighted more forcefully at the global stage, including in the International Court of Justice. He expressed these views while delivering a presidential address at the first session of a conference organized by Mukhtar Force (volunteers) in observance of Youm-e-Mukhtar Aale Muhammad (RA) at the Headquarters of Maktab-e-Tashayyu, Ali Masjid.
Allama Muqaddasi emphasized that a nationwide operation is essential to eliminate terrorists and their hideouts. Every patriotic Pakistani must contribute to the success of Pakistan’s armed forces. Civil defence training should be made compulsory for all citizens. Pakistan faces cunning enemies, and to counter these threats, NCC training should be reinstated in colleges and universities. Ignoring the activities of banned organizations is a betrayal of the blood of the martyrs in both the civilian and military fight against terrorism. The National Action Plan must be fully implemented to curb terrorism.
