Empowering women
To support women’s participation in business and as workers, several measures can be adopted. In workplaces, creating a safe and inclusive environment is essential, including equal pay, career advancement, and flexible working hours. For home-based workers or small business owners, the government can establish digital platforms to expand their market reach and provide access to training for skill development.
Domestic workers, including maids, should also be protected under labour rights, fair wages, and social security. These efforts require a comprehensive approach, ensuring women across sectors have equal opportunities to succeed. This will help improve womens’ prospects and will also help uplift the country’s economy as a whole. Women’s empowerment is crucial for the overall health and progress of any country.
