25 investigation officers complete special training
The Karachi police have completed the training of 25 officers as ‘specialized investigation officers’. Among them, 19 officers, including one female officer, have passed and are now assigned to special tasks within the Karachi police.
Fida Hussain Janwari, the principal of Shahid Hayat Police Training College, Saeedabad, told this reporter that under the special vision of Sindh IGP Ghulam Nabi Memon, 25 police officers from Karachi were selected in the first phase. They received specialized training at the Saeedabad Police Training Center in investigating various crimes, including murder cases, financial crimes, car theft, child abuse, forensics, and rape cases.
After completing the training, the officers underwent examinations, followed by interviews conducted by DIG Investigation Zulfiqar Ali Mahr and the principal. Out of the 25 officers, 19 (including one female officer) passed and are now being deployed across different units of the Karachi police. Fida Hussain Janwari further stated that these officers will receive double salaries, and in the future, criminal cases will be investigated in a more advanced and effective manner.
