Rs2.45 million released for injured cops’ treatment
LAHORE:Punjab police have released an additional Rs2.45 million to cover the medical expenses of injured personnel from various districts, including Lahore.
According to a spokesperson, Rs1 million was allocated for Inspector Riaz Muhammad, while ASI Muhammad Adnan, Sub-Inspector Kashif Iqbal, and Constable Wajid Ali each received Rs500,000. Constable Sadaqat Ali was granted Rs 250,000, while Constables Zulqarnain Haider and Abdul Malik were given Rs100,000 each. The police department reaffirmed its commitment to supporting injured officers and ensuring they receive the necessary medical care.
Ramazan package for families of martyred cops
The process of distributing Ramazan packages to the families of martyred police officers across the province has been completed. Punjab Police spokesperson said that Ramazan packages have been delivered to the doorsteps of the homes of martyred police officers. Senior officers, including CPOs, DPOs and SPs, went to the homes of martyred police officers, met the families.
