Where is the law?
The situation in Karachi’s Distrcit South has become unbearable for the average citizen, with crime, drugs and a lack of law enforcement dominating the streets. One of the most alarming issues facing District South is the rampant use of narcotics, particularly among young boys and girls. The agents supplying these drugs are known, and their operations are blatant, yet there seems to be little to no action taken to put an end to it. Security agencies and the local administration are well-versed in the situation, yet the lack of political will and responsibility leaves the community exposed.
The sight of expensive cars, pickup trucks, and heavily armed guards behind these vehicles has also become all too common. The overall environment in District South has degraded to the point where it feels unsafe and unwelcoming.
