All MTI recruitment to be conducted through ETEA
PESHAWAR: Adviser to Chief Minister on Health Ihtesham Ali on Wednesday has said all Medical Teaching Institutions (MTIs) in the province would now conduct recruitment through the Educational Testing and Evaluation Agency (ETEA).
He directed all MTIs to process hiring through ETEA, saying that no private or other testing agencies would be accepted for recruitment in the health sector. “The practice of using multiple testing agencies in the Health Department ends today,” he added.
He said that ETEA was conducting computer-based testing, which ensured transparency and fairness in the recruitment process. Highlighting concerns over private agencies, he pointed out that some organizations obtained recruitment tenders and appointed candidates of their choice, compromising merit.“I am not here to recruit my own people; I am here to ensure a merit-based system,” he said.
