UAE starts distribution of ration to 3,000 people in Sindh
Consul general said that like every year, ration would be distributed to thousands of families in Sindh and Balochistan
KARACHI: The United Arab Emirates has started distributing ration to more than 3,000 beneficiaries of Sindh and Balochistan ahead of Ramazan.
On behalf of Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, the distribution of rations was started by UAE Karachi Consul General Dr. Bakheet Ateeq Alremeithi at Kathor. Rations are prepared and supplied by the UAE to the beneficiaries in accordance with strict hygiene standards. The consul general said that like every year, ration would be distributed to thousands of families in Sindh and Balochistan. The UAE has been distributing rations ahead of Ramazan across Pakistan for 18 years.
The consul general said that the ration includes 40kg flour, 20kg rice, 10 kg sugar, dates, 10kg pulses, 5kg salt, spices, baby milk and drinks for each family. He said that the UAE always takes care of its Pakistani brothers and sisters on every festival.
