This letter refers to the letter ‘No work for women’ (February 19, 2025) by Saad Ul Haq. The writer points out that only 50,000 women are employed by the federal government and its affiliated entities, out of a total of 1.2 million employees.

This is an important statistic; the government should make necessary efforts to remove or reduce this gender disparity occurring in the workplace. Aside from reducing disparities, encouraging more women to enter the work force can help counter the overpopulation problem.
