Israr, Mahnoor claim Unified Marathon titles
LAHORE: In a groundbreaking display of inclusivity and athletic spirit, Lahore witnessed its first-ever Faysal Bank SOP Unified Marathon 2025 on Sunday.
Israr Khattak claimed the top spot in males’ category with a time of 1:13:21. He was followed by Mohammad Akbar while Nosherwan was third. Among females, the winner was Mahnoor Fatima, who clocked 2:02:27, Umaira was second and Aisha Mustoor Butt was third.
The event was graced by notable figures including Yousaf Hussain, President and CEO of Faysal Bank Limited, and Ms. Ronak Lakhani, Chairperson of Special Olympics Pakistan. Their presence underscored the significance of this pioneering initiative in Punjab’s capital.
