One-year extension given to Ogra chief
Masroor Khan was appointed Ogra for four years on February 18, 2021
ISLAMABAD: The federal government has granted one yea r extension in service to Chairman Ogra Masroor Khan.
According to the notification issued by Establishment Division, extension in service will be from February 23, 2025 to February 22, 2026. One-year extension has been given on completion of his 4-year term of appointment.
Masroor Khan was appointed Chairman Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) for four years on February 18, 2021. Meanwhile, Basit Rehman, Assistant Chief Ministry of Planning, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary Ministry of Information Technology, while Nasir Aziz Khan, Deputy Secretary Ministry of Religious Affairs Nasir, transferred and directed to report to Establishment Division.
Muhammad Rafiq, Deputy Secretary Ministry of Information Technology, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary Ministry of Religious Affairs.
Nazish Amjad, Deputy Secretary Economic Affairs Division, has been posted as Community/Labour Welfare Attaché, Pakistani Embassy in Greece.
