Mayor warns against illegal road-cutting

Mayor Barrister Murtaza Wahab on Tuesday issued a directive stating that no roads under the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) were to be cut without prior approval. He further warned that any institution found cutting roads for utility services without written permission would face legal consequences, including the filing of FIRs. In a meeting with a delegation from the Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC), Wahab reiterated this position.
