Nine die on road in 24 hours
LAHORE:The ESD responded to 1,367 road accidents in all districts of Punjab during the last 24 hours. In these accidents, nine people died, whereas 1,589 were injured. Out of these, 653 people with serious injuries were shifted to different hospitals, while 927 victims with minor injuries were treated at the incident site by Rescue medical teams.
Drug dealers, other outlaws arrested
Police have claimed arresting several suspects for their involvement in different crimes across the city on Tuesday. Sanda police detained a man for his involvement in an attempted murder. Bhatti Gate police arrested a kite seller and recovered kites from his possession. Su-e-Asil chowki police detained three drug peddlers and recovered three kg charas from their possession. Tibbi City police arrested three men and three women from a brothel.
