Selected 167 young footballers start training

ISLAMABAD: Following weeks of trials spreading over 27 districts where 2,200 youngsters appeared, the Maidaan 2025 Football Training Camp has been launched at Muhammad Rasheed Football Ground, Muslim Hands Educational Complex, in Wazirabad.

A total of 167 young footballers from across Pakistan were selected have now started training at the camps. The trials were conducted in all major cities like Swat, Quetta, Kashmir, and Karachi.

Muslim Hands is providing the players with full accommodation and three meals a day, allowing them to focus entirely on honing their skills. The camp offers world-class training, scouting opportunities, and a platform for international exposure.

The objective of this camp is to prepare these young players for prestigious international events such as the Norway Cup and the Street Child World Cup in the USA. This initiative aimed at not only making Pakistan proud on the global stage but to showcase the country’s football talent worldwide.

The Prime Minister’s Youth Program has consistently supported young athletes and continues its efforts to promote football alongside other sports.
