Book on Karachi’s non-Muslim cricketers to be published next month
KARACHI: Renowned journalist and researcher Shah Waliullah Junaidi’s fourth book, Non-Muslim Cricketers of Karachi, will be launched next month.
The book covers the performance of non-Muslim cricketers who were either born in Karachi dating from the British era to the present; and also, those who came to Karachi and played cricket and are still playing.
The book also mentions non-Muslim players from Karachi who have been associated with cricket teams of different countries and have brought glory to the city and the country.
This book will be published under the Shah Muhammad Hamza Research and Publications Center, which will be released worldwide. This 130-page book is initially being published in Urdu, and later its English edition will also be published.
The book includes the impressions of renowned journalist, first-class cricketer and commentator Qamar Ahmed and senior journalist Sohail Danish.
