PTV take command against Wapda
KARACHI: PTV scored 375 runs while conceiving 6 wickets against Wapda here at Rashid Latif Academy Ground on the first day of the sixth round of the President Trophy Grade-1 match Friday.
The highlights of the day were centuries by Junaid Ali of Ghani Glass and Rameez Aziz of State Bank. PTV’s Waqar Hussain (78), Muhammad Shahzad (74) and Muhammad Taha stood out with 59 runs. Khalid Usman took 4 wickets. In another match, Higher Education were bowled out for 179 in the first innings against SNGPL at UBL Sports Complex.
SNGPL scored 100 runs at the end of the game at the cost of 7 wickets. Abid Ali scored 30 runs while Moiz Khurram took three wickets. At KCCA Stadium, Ghani Glass scored 390 runs for 9 wickets while batting first against KRL. Junaid Ali scored 116 runs with the help of 20 fours. He added 145 runs in the seventh wicket partnership with Nouman Ali who scored 49 runs. Shaan Masood scored 67 runs. Jawad Ali took 5-115.
