Gilani condoles demise of Prince Karim Aga Khan

Islamabad: Acting President Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has expressed deep sorrow and grief on the demise of Prince Karim Aga Khan, spiritual leader of the Ismaili community and founder and head of the Aga Khan Development Network.

In his condolence message, the Acting President said that his heart is deeply saddened to hear the news of the demise of Prince Karim Aga Khan. He was a great man who rendered unparalleled services for love, peace and humanity. With his demise, the world has lost a compassionate, compassionate and service-minded leader.

Yousuf Raza Gilani further said that Prince Karim Aga Khan’s valuable services in the fields of education and health will always be remembered. He did countless welfare works for the underprivileged and middle class and millions of people benefited from his initiatives.

Gilani said that Prince Karim Aga Khan always emphasized the promotion of peace, tolerance and interfaith harmony. His efforts to serve humanity are commendable and following in his footsteps is a beacon of light for all of us.

He said that the Pakistani nation is saddened by the death of Prince Karim Aga Khan, and the government, people and parliament of Pakistan share equally with the bereaved family and the Ismaili community in this hour of grief.The Acting President prayed that Allah Almighty grant the bereaved the strength to bear this shock with courage and patience.
