A friend in need
This letter refers to the news report ‘Science and technology minister visits Palestinian Embassy to reaffirm support’ (December 27, 2024). It is indeed an honour for us and a very appreciable fact that the government of Pakistan is taking keen initiatives to foster and develop ever greater educational opportunities for our Palestinian brethren in distress.
We should also extend our services to the Palestinian people in the fields of health care, tourism, food and food security, agriculture, information technology, and any other sector in which Pakistan holds expertise. Now is the time to help the Palestinians. I hope and pray to the that the Palestinian nation shall one day enjoy the honour and glory of independence and statehood.
