Islamabad: A meeting between senior officials of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Capital Development Authority (CDA) which was held on Monday discussed developing a sustainable financial model for urban and rural healthcare centres, the establishment of a Green Data Centre, and the construction of the Islamabad Intercity Bus Terminal.
A delegation from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) met the CDA Chairman, Muhammad Ali Randhawa, at the CDA Headquarters on Monday. The CDA Chairman asked ADB to devise a financial model aimed at reducing the operational costs of rural and urban healthcare centres to ensure long-term sustainability.
The discussion also covered the establishment of a Green Data Centre in Islamabad. During the briefing, the CDA officials were informed that the Green Data Centre would primarily rely on solar energy for power. He asked ADB to conduct a study to identify the most suitable location for the centre.
