Pak Navy rescues eight Baloch fishermen off Jewani coast

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Navy has rescued eight Baloch fishermen in a successful operation in the Arabian Sea.

A fishermen’s boat named ‘Al Qadari’ met with an accident after developing a fault in its engine, south of Jewani. The fishermen on board made radio calls for help. These calls were monitored by the Joint Maritime Information and Coordination Center which immediately sought help from the Pakistan Navy’s maritime headquarters.

One of the Pakistan Navy helicopters immediately arrived at the site and rescued eight Baloch fishermen. The rescued fishermen were shifted to Gwadar for treatment. The fishermen have expressed thanks to Pakistan Navy for the timely rescue operation.
