Ayaz meets treasury, opposition members at parliament’s cafeteria lawns
Assembly members appreciates role of speaker in running House in best possible manner
ISLAMABAD: National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq held an informal interaction with members of the National Assembly belonging to the treasury and opposition at the lawns of the Parliament’s cafeteria on Wednesday.
Newly-appointed PTI Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa President, also the newly-elected Chairman Public Accounts Committee Junaid Akbar, PPP legislator Nafisa Shah and PTI legislator Atif Khan, JUIF legislator Noor Alam Khan were present in the informal meeting. They all exchanged pleasantries.
NA Speaker Ayaz Sadiq appealed to the MNAs to improve political environment, adding that solution to every issue could be found through dialogue. The assembly members appreciated the role of the speaker in running the House in the best possible manner.
When a journalist asked the speaker about the possibility of resumption of negotiations with the PTI, he replied that the government and the opposition could better tell about it.
