Pakistan to start tri-nation series preparations from February 4

LAHORE: Pakistan’s national cricket team will begin its preparations for the tri-nation series starting February 4. According to sources, the ODI squad announcement is expected within next two days. The team will hold a practice session from February 4 at the LCCA Ground.
New Zealand team will arrive in Lahore on the morning of February 5. Both Pakistan and New Zealand teams will practice at the Gaddafi Stadium on February 6. The two teams will face each other in the first match on February 8 at the Gaddafi Stadium.
South Africa team will arrive in Lahore on the morning of February 7 and will have a practice session at the LCCA Ground on February 8. New Zealand and South Africa teams will practice at the Gaddafi Stadium on February 9 while the Pakistani team will depart for Karachi on the same day.
The second match of the tri-series will be played between South Africa and New Zealand on February at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore. After the match, both teams will depart for Karachi. Pakistan will practice at the Karachi’s National Bank Stadium on February 10 and 11 while South Africa will practice on February 11. Pakistan and South Africa will face each other in the third match of the tri-series on February 12. The team that does not qualify for the final will depart for the Champions Trophy venue.
