STP protests against six canals project
STP leader says people of Sindh would collectively bury this project forever

SUKKUR: Sindh Taraqi Pasand Party (STP) held a protest demonstration in Sukkur on Monday against the proposed construction of six canals on the Indus River.
The rally was led by party chairman Dr Qadir Magsi, Haider Shahani, Abdul Fattah Samejo, Muhammad Ali Sheikh and Dr Ahmed Noonari. Addressing the rally, Dr Magsi said said, “If the PPP is really against the project, then why it didn’t raise voice in the Sindh Assembly, National Assembly and Senate,” he asked. The STP leader said the people of Sindh would collectively bury this project forever.During the rally, the STP leaders urged the people of Sindh to unite and appealed to all political parties to work together to thwart “anti-Sindh” projects.
