11 BHUs ad hoc doctors terminated
LAHORE : Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department (PSHD) has discontinued the services of Medical Officers and Women Medical Officers working on an ad hoc basis in the outsourced Basic Health Units (BHUs).
Issuing the notification with directions to all Chief Executive Officers of District Health Authority, Punjab, the department says that presently 11 Medical Officers & Woman Medical Officers are working on ad hoc basis, in these BHUs designated as "Maryam Nawaz Health Clinic".
The Finance Department has advised to discontinue their services in these Basic Health Units from the date of outsourcing - 1.02.2025. Therefore, it is directed to discontinue / terminate the ad hoc services of all the Medical Officers & Woman Medical Officer (ad hoc), at these BHUs, with effect from 31.01.2025, and submit a compliance report along with a copy of the charge relinquish reports, to this department.
