Govt to refund Rs40,000 each to pilgrims of last year

ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Religious Affairs has decided to refund approximately Rs40,000 to every pilgrim of the last year.
Minister for Religious Affairs Chaudhry Salik Hussain on Saturday said that refunds to pilgrims who performed Haj, last year would get refunds varying little above or less than Rs40,000 according to their categories.
He said that intending pilgrims this year in the expenses same to the last year, would get better facilities. He said that there would be better living space in Mina. Instead of tents having air cooler, there would be air-conditioned living places made of gypsum. Likewise the last year, the pilgrims would also get food at their accommodation.
