WAF wants attack on women probed

PESHAWAR: The Women’s Action Forum (WAF) has condemned the recent attack on three women in Peshawar and demanded an impartial investigation into the incident
A press release said the act in which three sisters were allegedly attacked was a violation of human rights and dignity.Naheed Jahangir, Assistant Media Manager at the Lady Reading Hospital (LRH) Peshawar, Rani Andaleeb, a trainee journalist and their sister Salma Jahangir were attacked near Kohat Road Chungi while returning from a family event.
The Women’s Action Forum demanded the implementation of stronger measures to protect women, particularly those in public and professional spaces.It reiterated its commitment to advocating for the rights and safety of women across Pakistan.
