SRINAGAR: The Kashmiri protesters in Indian-held Kashmir on Friday once again raised pro-Pakistan slogans and waved Pakistani flags in the valley-wide protest rallies.
The protest rallies were held on the call of Hurriyat leaders against the Indian troops’ repression on innocent unarmed Kashmiris in the valley. The Indian forces started severe teargas shelling as the protesters hoisted the Pakistani flags and raised slogans of ‘Pakistan Zindabad.’
According to a foreign news agency, the Kashmiris organised the protest rallies in Srinagar and many other cities of the occupied valley against cruelty of the Indian forces. The Indian forces have unleashed torture on innocent Kashmiri people for launching the ‘Jail Bharo’ campaign.
In Srinagar a protest rally was taken out. It was led by Hurriyat leader Shabbir Shah. During the rally, the protesters again hoisted Pakistan flags and raised pro-Pakistan slogans. The protesters also raised slogans against India. In the Islamabad area of the valley, the demonstrators hoisted Pakistan flags and raised anti-India and pro-Pakistan slogans.
Meanwhile, Indian Home Minister Rajnath Singh reiterated on Friday there would be “no compromise” on the people involved in waving Pakistani flags in any part of India, including Jammu & Kashmir.
Addressing the media to mark the completion of one year in office of Narendra Modi government, the home minister said strict action would be taken against anyone involved in such activities.
“This (incidents of waving of Pakistani flags) happened earlier also (during other governments regime) but it would not be tolerated,” he said. On being asked what India was doing to bring the underworld don Dawood Ibrahim back to the country from Pakistan, the minister said Interpol had issued red corner notices against him and many others and the process was on to get hold of the anti-India elements living abroad.
“Whether Dawood Ibrahim, Masood Azhar, or Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi, red corner notices have been issued them and India is doing its best to bring them to justice,” Indian home minister said.
On whether India would give another dossier to Pakistan on the issue, Singh said: “As of now, there is no such proposal but a dossier has already been given to Pakistan in this regard in 2012.”
