MULTAN: The divisional administration, under the directions of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, conducted a performance review of Lodhran district.
The meeting chaired by Commissioner Multan Division Amir Kareem Khan assessed service delivery to the public, particularly in health, education, water supply and other sectors, directing the activation of all water filtration plants.
The commissioner issued directives for removing encroachments, improving traffic management, and addressing public complaints at land record centres. He emphasised prompt action on complaints, thorough inquiries, and departmental action against corrupt staff, reiterating a zero-tolerance policy for corruption. He emphasised the importance of resolving judicial cases, including those of overseas Pakistanis, and ensuring timely justice in revenue courts. He held additional commissioners and deputy commissioners accountable for revenue matters and called for increased recovery of stamp duty, land revenue, water rates, and agricultural income tax.
