ECP delists three parties for not holding intra-party polls
Separate delisting notifications issued to Pakistan National Party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Nizam and National Democratic Party
ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) Friday delisted three political parties for not holding the intra-party elections.
On the order of the Commission, three separate notifications were issued about delisting the Pakistan National Party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Nizam and National Democratic Party.
The Commission has enlisted Tehreek-e-Suba Hazara Pakistan and issued it a certificate concerning its intra-party polls.
“In pursuance of Sections 208 & 209 (3) of the Elections Act, 2017 read with sub-rule (2) of Rule 158 of the Election Rules, 2017, the Election Commission of Pakistan is pleased to publish for public information, the Certificate containing the information with regard to conduct of intra-party elections on 08-11-2024, the details of election result, along with copy of notification showing the name, designation and address of the party’s office bearers, in respect “Tehreek-e-Suba Hazara Pakistan,” a notification says.
