Lyari hand grenade attack case registered
Police have registered a case regarding the hand grenade attack on an under-construction building in the Lyari neighbourhood on Wednesday night.
The case was filed at the Kalakot police station based on the complaint of builder Haji Abdul Wahab, following the attack on his plot in Kalakot. The blast injured one person.
According to the police, the case included provisions of the Anti-Terrorism Act. Wahab reported that the grenade caused damage to the gate of his plot. He stated that an unidentified individual threw the grenade and fled the scene.
Wahab also mentioned that, although he had not received any threats or extortion calls, he was involved in several ongoing disputes. The police were currently reviewing CCTV footage from the area as part of their investigation into the incident.
