KARACHI: Gold prices rose by Rs1,400 per tola on Thursday in the local market following an increase in the international market.
All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association stated that gold rates reached Rs282,200 per tola.Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold rose by Rs1,200 to Rs241,941.
Gold rates increased by $13 to $2,703 per ounce in the international market. Silver rates increased by Rs83 to Rs3,433 per tola. Similarly, 10-gram silver rates also increased by Rs71 to Rs2,943.
Prices in the local market are adjusted by a premium of $20 against rates in the international market.
