PESHAWAR: Wife of Dr Raza Khan Afridi breathed her last on Wednesday and was laid to rest in her ancestral Sambaba graveyard in Kajori area of Khyber tribal district the same day.
The Qul for the departed soul would be held at the family hujra near Government High School Jan Khan Killay, Kajori, tomorrow (Friday).
She was the mother of Dr Imtiaz Afridi, Dr Ashfaq Afridi and Farooq Afridi. Daughter of Haji Mohammad Noor (late), she was the sister of Dr Lal Noor Afridi, Dr Shehzad Noor Afridi, Dr Gul Noor Afridi, Engineer Abid Noor Afridi, Haji Taj Noor and Zahid Noor and mother-in-law of journalist Javed Afridi and Dr Tariq Afridi. She was also the sister-in-law of Saeed Afridi.
