‘Rangers to assist Lesco to catch power thieves’

LAHORE: Soon paramilitary force will take action along with teams of Lahore Electric Supply Company (Lesco) against defaulters and power thieves.
According to an official, Lesco administration has sought rangers’ help in taking action against defaulters and electricity pilferers. Rangers will assist in the first phase in Okara and Eastern Circle. An operation will be conducted against the top 100 defaulters in remote villages, especially in the border areas. Rangers will accompany Lesco staff during the drive. An operation will also be conducted in Kasur, Sheikhupura, Narang Mandi and Nankana Circle.
