RDA continues operation against illegal buildings

Rawalpindi: Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) Enforcement Wing is continuously conducting operations against illegal plazas, illegal building and structures, shops and encroachments in the city.

RDA’s Enforcement team today with the assistance of Rawalpindi Police carried out an operation at Adyala Road and New Morgah Road, Rawalpindi.

RDA Enforcement team sealed five plazas including one under construction plaza at Mouza Dahgal and five rooms on first floor sealed. Further construction of two illegal plazas stopped at Samanzar Housing on Adyala Road. At New Morgah Road enforcement team sealed seven shops. However, Wasif Plaza and Waheed Plaza were left over since owners’ lawyers furnished stay order of civil courts at sites. The operation was carried out by the RDA’s Enforcement Team in the supervision of RDA's Enforcement in-charge Rana Tariq Javed.

Metropolitan Planning and Traffic Engineering (MP&TE) Directorate directed the field staff to continue the operations against unauthorised construction/commercial activities without any fear or favour.
