Police personnel given Rs5.4m medical funds

LAHORE: Compensation Award Committee of the Punjab Police Welfare Branch has sanctioned Rs5.4 million for the medical treatment of policemen, who suffered wounds in the line of duty.
Constables Muhammad Faizan and Jamshed Iqbal were given Rs1.5million, Head Constable Umair Irshad Rs1million, constables Muhammad Salman and Zahid Hussain Rs 500,000 each, Sub-Inspector Muhammad Bhutta and ASI Muhammad Arshad Rs150,000 each, and Constable Imran Ghulam Rs 100,000 for their medical expenses.
