Food outlets sealed
LAHORE
Punjab Food Authority (PFA) on Thursday continued its campaign against adulterated and substandard food products and sealed a number of businesses.
Officials said Samanabad Town team sealed godowns of Alhabib Marketing and Jouhari Marketing on Bund Road for various violations. The team also sealed Muhammadi Tikka Shop for open drainage, dirty premises and presence of insects. A team of Data Town sealed A & Sons Snacks for absence of expiry and manufacturing dates on finished products and use of substandard cooking oil. A team of Ravi Town sealed Gulshan Samosa Patti and Muhammadi Milk Shop in the Shahdara area over different violations. Similarly, teams of Aziz Bhatti Town and Nishtar Town sealed New Pak Sweets in Tajpura, Rehmat Sons and Sharafat Samossa Patti at Chungi Amarsadhu. Teams of Allama Iqbal Town and Data Town issued warning to Cakes and Bakes in Tufail Plaza and Rajistani BBQ on poor cleanliness and other issues.
