PCB announces pick order for PSL 10 player draft
LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the pick order for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10 player draft, which is set to take place on January 11, 2025, in Gwadar, Balochistan.
According to the recently unveiled pick order, the first round of the Platinum category will proceed as follows: Lahore Qalandars (two-time champions) will make the opening pick, Karachi Kings will pick second, Quetta Gladiators (2019 champions) will pick third, Peshawar Zalmi will pick fourth, and Multan Sultans (last season’s runners-up) will make the fifth pick. Islamabad United (reigning champions) will complete the first round with the sixth pick. The second round of the Platinum category will follow a reverse order, starting with Islamabad United and ending with Lahore Qalandars. Additionally, teams will make five picks in the Silver category, two picks in the Emerging category, and four picks in the Supplementary category to complete their squads.
