AC’s vehicle seized, guards abducted in Mir Ali

MIRANSHAH: Unidentified armed men took away the official vehicle of Assistant Commissioner Shah Wali Khan along with two police guards Mir Ali tehsil in North Waziristan tribal district.
According to the police, the double-cabin pickup was refueling at a petrol station in Mir Ali when armed men held the driver and guards at gunpoint before forcibly taking away the vehicle.
Assistant Commissioner Shah Wali Khan was not present in the vehicle.The district administration urged the local tribe in whose jurisdiction the incident took place to act against the culprits in accordance with tribal customs and ensure the recovery of the abducted individuals and the vehicle.
