JCP moved against judge’s nomination
Letter requests to avoid considering Hamayun for position of additional judge

ISLAMABAD: The Judicial Commission of Pakistan (JCP) was approached on Thursday against the nomination of Additional District and Sessions Judge Hamayun Dilawar for the position of additional judge of the Islamabad High Court (IHC).
In a letter addressed to Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Yahya Afridi being the JCP chairman, advocate Ali Zaman, a member of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Bar Council, questioned the nomination and requested the commission to refrain from considering Hamayun for the position of additional judge.
