PMA, Apca demand reinstatement of suspended doctors
MULTAN: The South Punjab Pakistan Medical Association (PMA), Nurses Association, All Pakistan Clerks Association (Apca) and Paramedics Staff Association (PSA) through a joint resolution demanded the government avoid politicisation of doctors and reinstate suspended doctors of Nishtar Hospital Nephrology Ward.
Speaking at the South Punjab convention on Saturday, the doctors demanded a transparent probe into the incident to address the question of whether dialysis machines are risky to HIV or not. The convention rejected the suspensions of doctors at Nishtar Hospital Nephrology Ward and Rahim Yar Khan Sheikh Zaid Nephrology Ward as they are quite illegal and unethical. The convention called the Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz that the bureaucracy was feeding her fake information and concealing facts.
