PESHAWAR: Rasm-e-Qul for Sardar Muhammad Shakeel Hussain Zahid will be offered today (Saturday) at noon at the family residence in Hussainabad, inside Kohati Gate.
The deceased, who had retired as a colonel from the Pakistan Army, passed away on Thursday after a brief illness.His funeral procession was taken out from Imambargah Hussainabad, inside Kohati Gate.
Namaz-e-Janaza was offered at the Haideri Fuel Station, City Circular Road in Ganj, and he was laid to rest at his ancestral graveyard located nearby.The deceased was the son of Sardar Sajjad Hussain Zahid (late), brother of Muhammad Aqeel Hussain Zahid, Secretary General of the Imamia Jirga KP, father of Muhammad Ali Abbas and Mashhood Ali Abbas and cousin of senior journalist Sardar Mehmood ul Hasan.
