Rawalpindi:All Pakistan Private School Management Association (APPSMA) President (North Punjab) Abrar Ahmed Khan said that the current academic session in Punjab was severely affected due to long summer vacation, smog, protests, and now due to this scenario expected 23-day winter vacation will also be effected, says a press release.
He demanded to Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat Khan to limit the winter vacation to January 1 to 10, reconsidering the decision of winter vacation.This demand was submitted by President APPSMA to Punjab Education Minister in the form of a written request. The request took the position that the education system has been badly affected by the daily closure of educational institutions in Punjab.
Nine education boards of Punjab have also released the schedule of matriculation examinations starting from March 4 and the beginning of Ramazan is also expected from March 1. He said that keeping all these aspects in mind, such decisions should be made that are better for the students.
