Sit-in: 33 PTI workers from Bajaur arrested in Islamabad
Lawmakers said that efforts were underway for release of these workers
KHAR: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf on Sunday released a list of the workers from Bajaur constituencies PK-19 and PK-20, who had been arrested during the recent PTI protest in D-Chowk in Islamabad.
Talking to reporters, Members Provincial Assembly and District Development Advisory Committee chairman Dr Hamidur Rahman and Anwarzeb Khan said that 13 PTI workers from PK-19 and 20 workers from PK-20 had been arrested and efforts were being made to secure their release.
They said the arrested workers from PK-19 include: Farooq Khan, Nazir Gul, Muhammad Nasir, Abbas, Muhammad Tayyab, Irshad, Ghulam Muhammad, Rahimullah, Zainatullah, Inamullah, Muhammad, Zahir Ali and Sajid.
Similarly, they said that 20 workers arrested in Islamabad belonged to PK-20. The arrested workers include: Abuzar, Farooq, Talha, Ghufran, Majid, Zahidullah, Subhanullah, Sajjad, Ihtisham, Ejaz, Haider, Mama Jan, Nadir Khan, Azir Jan, Itibar Khan, Umar Habib, Ibrahim, Furman, Muhammad Ikram, and Ibrahim Khan.
The lawmakers said that efforts were underway for the release of these workers, and a legal team had already been assigned the task.
