Gilani meets Imam Kaaba

Islamabad : Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani met Imam Kaaba Sheikh Bandar Balilah during his six-day visit to Saudi Arabia along with other delegation.

In the meeting with Imam Kaaba, Pakistan-Saudi Arabia bilateral relations, facilities for pilgrims, Umrah pilgrims, and other important issues were discussed.

Earlier, he performed Umrah along with a delegation and also prayed for the security, progress and prosperity of Pakistan.

On this occasion, Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, while talking to Imam Kaaba, said that it is the collective responsibility of the Muslim world to control the trends of terrorism, extremism, and Islamophobia. Islam gives a message of peace, this message needs to be spread.

Chairman Senate said that keeping in mind the challenges of the modern era, the unity of the Muslim Ummah is very important. Only through unity can common challenges be faced together. Yousaf Raza Gilani said that the efforts of Imam Kaaba for the unity of the Muslim Ummah are commendable.

The Islamic world will have to raise its voice at all levels against the atrocities in Palestine and occupied Kashmir. Israeli forces in Gaza and Indian forces in occupied Kashmir are involved in the worst human rights violations. The champions of human rights will have to take notice of these atrocities.

Chairman Senate thanked Saudi Arabia for providing exemplary facilities to Pakistani pilgrims and Umrah pilgrims and said that Imam Kaaba has always talked about the problems of the modern era, their solutions and solutions to collective and individual problems in his sermons, which is commendable.

On this occasion, Imam Kaaba Sheikh Bandar Balilah said that Pakistan is a good brotherly country. The friendship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia is eternal.

On this occasion, Imam Kaaba also prayed for the security, progress and prosperity of Pakistan.
