PFA informed about food sector issues
Rawalpindi : The business community associated with the food sector, led by Muhammad Farooq Chaudhry, President Restaurants Caterers Sweets and Bakers Association, Chairman Mumtaz Ahmed, informed Abgine Khan, Director North Punjab Food Authority and Adnan Akram, Deputy Director Operations Rawalpindi, of their concerns and requested that the Punjab Food Authority (PFA) play its positive role in resolving the legitimate problems of the traders, says a press release.
On this, Abgine Khan, Director North Punjab Food Authority and Adnan Akram, Deputy Director Operations appreciated the efforts of President Association Muhammad Farooq Chaudhry and assured them of resolving the problems of the traders.
President Muhammad Farooq Chaudhry and Chairman Mumtaz Ahmed, led the business community associated with the food sector and held an important meeting with Abgine Khan, Director North Punjab Food Authority and Adnan Akram, Deputy Director Operations Rawalpindi.
On this occasion, Saleem Pervaiz Butt, President Grocery Association Rawalpindi and Patron-in-Chief Punjab, Malik Waqar, President Fresh Milk Association, Chaudhry Khalid Mahmood, General Secretary Fresh Milk Association, Zaheer Abbas, Javed Rahat, President Meat Association, Khurshid Qureshi, General Secretary Nanbai Association were present.
During the meeting, Muhammad Farooq Chaudhry, and Chairman Mumtaz Ahmed informed the administrators of the PFA in detail about the issues related to medical certificates of food handlers, licensing, fines, and inspections.
In addition, regarding World Food Day, Rawalpindi Restaurants, Caters, Sweets and Bakers Association presented suggestions regarding organising awareness seminars and holding meetings with the PFA every two months.
On this occasion, Saleem Pervaiz Butt, President Grocery Association Rawalpindi and Patron-in-Chief Punjab, informed about the issues related to grocery licensing and medical certificates.
