NOWSHERA: An alleged robber was killed in a bid to rob the house of a foreign-based worker in Wapda Colony in Taru Jabba in Nowshera district on Saturday.
Farzana, wife of Mir Alam from Upper Dir, who is currently residing in Wapda Colony in Taru Jabba, told the police that her husband Mir Alam Khan was working abroad.
She said that on the night of the incident, she was sleeping with her children, mother, and sister and when she woke up to have sehri, she heard the noise of footsteps of someone in the courtyard of the house.
The complainant said that the robbers then forced their entry into her room and started firing.
She said that she also opened fire at them with her husband’s pistol.
