PTI actions prove it is a ‘political wing of TTP’: Azma Bokhari

LAHORE: Punjab Information Minister Azma Bokhari has said that by chanting the “al-jihad al-jihad,” slogans, the PTI has proven that it is the political wing of the TTP.

She further claimed that the TTP’s political wing has formed its own “jihadist squad,” which has been armed with its weapons, shells, slingshots, glass, and rubber bullets.

The mastermind of the May 9 incident is continuously using the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as a pawn against the federation.

Azma added that 90% of PTI members are against the November 24 protest. She said that Bushra Bibi’s authoritarian and demeaning attitude has caused a rift among her members in the assembly. Aliya Khan and Sher Afzal Marwat have openly opposed Bushra’s control over the party.

The MPAs are sensible and have refused to acknowledge Bushra’s leadership in Punjab.

The prisoner from Adiala jail is inciting the youth of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa against the federation.

The children, who should be holding laptops, free books, free medicines and AI skills, are being armed by the “Fitna Group” with slingshots, petrol bombs, and sticks to fight against the state.

Azma emphasised that the state should not be underestimated, as they know how to deal with mobs and rioters.
